Programs

At JAG KY (Jobs for America's Graduates - Kentucky), we’re on a mission to inspire, empower, and prepare the youth of the Commonwealth to lead tomorrow’s workforce. As a statewide school-to-work transition program, we provide students with the skills and support they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

JAG KY is recognized by the Kentucky Department of Education as a valuable, supplemental elective course that enhances any career pathway. For each year a student is enrolled, they earn one credit toward graduation. Our program is built on Project-Based Learning (PBL), Trauma-Informed Care, and strong Employer Engagement, creating an impactful, real-world learning experience for students. This fosters a sense of belonging and student engagement, transforming the school culture for the better.

WHY JAG KY?

Currently, JAG KY is empowering students across 104 programs throughout Kentucky, and we are expanding. Our goal for the 2025-2026 school year is to introduce JAG KY programs in even more schools, and we are actively seeking schools like yours that may benefit from this initiative.

Alongside our specialized curriculum, we also provide funding support. Schools that implement JAG KY receive a grant of up to $40,000 to help cover the teacher's salary for our program.
